1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Antario Therapy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients who access the Service.

2 Description of Services

Antario Therapy provides online mental health counseling and therapy services through secure video conferencing. Services include:

• Individual therapy sessions via secure video
• Secure messaging with your therapist
• Educational resources and courses
• Appointment scheduling and payment processing

3 Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and therapy sessions
• Attend scheduled sessions on time and in a private, quiet environment
• Maintain confidentiality of session access links and account credentials
• Not to record sessions without explicit written consent from your therapist
• Seek immediate emergency assistance if experiencing a crisis by calling 911 or your local emergency services

Services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older unless parental or guardian consent is obtained where required by applicable law.

4 Appointments & Cancellations

• Sessions are typically 50 minutes unless otherwise arranged
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session
• Late cancellations (within 24 hours) may be charged the full session fee
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions at our discretion with reasonable notice

5 Payments & Refunds

• Payment is due at the time of booking unless other arrangements have been made
• Refunds for cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be processed within 5-10 business days
• All payments are processed securely through our PCI-compliant payment gateway
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days written notice

6 Confidentiality & Limitations

We are committed to protecting your confidentiality. All sessions are confidential except in the following limited circumstances:

• Risk of imminent harm to yourself or others
• Suspected abuse of a child, elderly person, or vulnerable adult (mandatory reporting)
• Court order or legal subpoena

7 Emergency & Crisis Care

Antario Therapy is NOT a crisis or emergency service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, thoughts of self-harm, or a medical emergency, please call 911 immediately or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 (US) or your local crisis hotline.

8 Disclaimer

The services provided by Antario Therapy are intended for mental‑health support and are not a substitute for emergency medical care, crisis intervention, or in‑person psychiatric treatment. While we employ industry‑standard security and privacy measures, we cannot guarantee that communications will be completely error‑free or uninterrupted. No specific therapeutic outcomes are guaranteed.

9 Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Service, including text, graphics, logos, course materials, and software, is the property of Antario Therapy or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Antario Therapy and its therapists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. We do not guarantee specific therapeutic outcomes.

11 Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12 Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
